Some vital stages in your child’s journey2
Play Group
Playgroup serves as a child’s first introduction to a structured learning environment. It promotes socialization, communication skills, and emotional intelligence. Children engage in play-based learning, which helps them develop essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. This foundational experience builds confidence and sets the stage for future educational success.
Nursery (Pre-KG)
Pre-KG (Pre-Kindergarten) is crucial for developing early literacy and numeracy skills. Children learn to express themselves, understand basic concepts, and explore their surroundings. This stage emphasizes the importance of social interaction and emotional development, helping children transition smoothly into more formal education settings.
PP-1 (LKG)
LKG (Lower Kindergarten) focuses on enhancing cognitive abilities and refining motor skills. At this stage, children begin to recognize letters, numbers, and shapes while developing their critical thinking skills. LKG also fosters creativity through art and imaginative play, encouraging children to explore their interests and build a strong sense of self.
PP-2 (UKG)
UKG (Upper Kindergarten) prepares children for primary school by deepening their understanding of language, math, and science. This stage emphasizes independence and responsibility, encouraging children to take ownership of their learning. UKG provides a structured curriculum that balances academic skills with emotional and social growth, ensuring a well-rounded education.
Why Early Learning is Necessary
Early learning is essential for laying the groundwork for lifelong learning and success. Research shows that quality early childhood education significantly impacts cognitive development, social skills, and emotional well-being. Investing in early learning helps close achievement gaps, promotes school readiness, and fosters a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
Preschool education envisions promoting access to universal, equitable, joyful, inclusive and contextualised learning opportunities for ensuring holistic development of all children between 3-6 years of age.
